Monday: Goal: Today we will learn the definition of our new vocabulary words so that we can use them in our everyday writing and possibly in our project.
(Small Group: Sleuth Book)
1. Type the vocabulary words and their definition in a two column chart on Google docs. Title it "Smokejumpers" vocabulary.
2. Practice your new vocabulary by using Quizlet.
3. Acuity Assignments (Language Arts)
4. Read eachother's stories on Kidblog. Practice positive, constructive commenting.
Tuesday:
Goal: Today we will start reading the story "Smokejumpers," and discover why its important to prepare for emergencies.

2. We just got don learning all about how important it is to be prepared for emergencies. Think of another type of emergency. How would you prepare for it? Blog about it on our Kidblog page.
