Day 1: Log on to "Think Central." Complete the interactive lesson (Unit 4 Lesson 1). Then create vocabulary word cards for your journal. Remember to name it Unit 4 Lesson 1 vocabulary.
Day 2: Read "Like Mother, Like Child" together and discuss while filling out the workbook. Do the same for "Its in the Genes."
Day 3:
Review: What genes do you think go got from your dad?
Read " Genes + Environment = You" and "Living Things That Change" together. Take notes using a 2 column chart.
Day 4:
Review: Why are adaptations useful?
Read "Insight into Insects," and "Learning your lesson." with your 11 o'clock partner. Come back to whole group to summarize main points of the two topics.
Day 5:
Review: Make a T-chart of learned behaviors versus instinct.
Complete the Brain Check P. 205-206 and turn in. You may get on Wonderopolis when you are finished.
